I’ve recently stepped into a new role as a Security Operations Engineer at Vertex Inc., where I’m excited to help shape the future of organizational security and threat defense!
Previously, I worked as a cybersecurity analyst at UltraViolet Cyber, where I worked on both sides of the SOC: triaging alerts across EDR, SIEM, and NDR tooling, and building the automation that makes that work faster. That means hyperautomated playbooks in Torq SOAR, plus AI agents that enrich alerts, map activity to MITRE ATT&CK, and turn threat intelligence into CrowdStrike Falcon hunt queries.
I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Computer & Information Science and a minor in Computer Science, after starting out at Howard Community College with an A.A. in Cybersecurity.
Before security operations, I worked in IT support at UMD, in GRC and vulnerability management at Edwards Performance Solutions, and in cloud engineering at Thorn Technologies. Along the way I tutored 100+ students in cybersecurity and helped many of them prepare for Security+.
